Have you ever encountered the HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found - Static File Handler?

This error is common when trying to access a website or application hosted on an Internet Information Services (IIS) web server. It usually occurs when the IIS server has not been configured properly, or if the required roles and features have not been installed. To resolve this issue, you must extend your Web Server (IIS) and Application Development by going to Add Roles and Features wizard and install Asp.net 3.5 and Asp.net 4.5 in IIS Manager console. This will help you get rid of the HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found - Static File Handler issue in no time!
